This wine is a great example of what is possible at the far western edge of Sta. Rita Hills. It combines perfect ripeness and intensity without sacrificing aromatic complexity; cracked black pepper, cedar, black and red cherries, elderberry. The palate brings in pomegranate, blackberry, raspberry and raspberry leaf, with touches of black tea and green peppercorn. Simply delicious.
