Our “Big Ben” Merlot is made from a special block of our estate vineyard which we allowed to achieve very full ripeness on the vine before harvesting, resulting in a wine of wonderfully lush and concentrated flavor. Crushed into small fermenters and cold-soaked for two days, the must was inoculated and fermented on the skins for two weeks to develop full rich flavor and structure and then the wine is aged for 22 months in French oak and eleven best barrels were selected for this wine.
