This wine is still very youthful. It opens slowly, but with a breath of air, it wants to show off. Deep and dark, earthy, and a bit mysterious, it unravels with black raspberry, cherry, cranberry, espresso, and green tobacco. The palate is very fresh and hydrated, showing off layers of blueberry, black cherry, mint, and dust. Length and density define the finish, combining grilled fig, cassis, cigar, and a charcoal dark tannin. This wine will benefit from time in the cellar, but it is a real pleasure today in its tense and youthful state.
