48% Grenache, 34% Graciano, 18% Syrah

The Vineyard: This fruit was grown at Roblar and Refugio Estate vineyards. This wine was blended out of barrel, and into a concrete tank in the spring. It aged for two months in concrete to bring some resolve and composure to this very exuberant and fresh blend.

Tasting Notes: This wine is delightful and bright. Black raspberry, strawberry, espresso, lavender and garigue compose the intriguing blend of aromas. It is tense and fine grained, filling the palate with a burst of fresh red fruits, blackberries, sweet tannins and tobacco spice. As it opens it develops candied red fruits, dried fig, cocoa powder and pine resin. Wonderfully expressive and youthful, this wine should continue to surprise us and evolve for many years.
